For the first time ever, NASCAR's national touring series competed on an active U.S. military installation as all three series took on the streets of Naval Base Coronado in San Diego during America's 250th anniversary celebration. From fighter jets and military displays to the iconic USS Carl Vinson serving as the backdrop, this was a weekend unlike anything the sport has ever seen. ⚓✈️🇺🇸
🏆 We kick things off by recognizing the inaugural winners across the weekend, with Layne Riggs capturing the Craftsman Truck Series victory, Austin Hill taking the checkered flag in the O'Reilly Series, and Corey Heim breaking through for his first-ever NASCAR Cup Series win in a career-defining performance. Heim capitalized on strategy and late-race drama to etch his name into the history books at NASCAR's newest street course.
